ACE Mentors
The newly established ACE Mentor Program of Memphis is looking for 15 mentors of all levels and disciplines in the AEC industry to support their inaugural program beginning this fall. A typical team meets every other week for two hours, from November through May.

STEM Game Day - October 21, 2026
STEM Game Day is an exciting day of discovery where middle school students will explore the diverse world of engineering through the lens of a professional sports stadium. This event was started by ACEC Arizona, and we are excited to bring it to Tennessee.
Hosted at GEODIS Park in Nashville, volunteers will explain engineering concepts through hands-on STEM activities, serving as tour guides, and assisting with check-in and registration. This is expected to be a half-day commitment and includes lunch and a complimentary event t-shirt!

MNPS Career Exploration Fair - November 6, 2026
The MNPS Career Exploration Fair hosts more than 4,000 ninth grade students considering their future careers. ACEC will have a booth and is looking for volunteers to join us and talk to students about careers in engineering.

Interested in getting involved with MNPS? PENCIL Connect provides a space where partners can offer their expertise, time, and service to Metro schools and classrooms. Opportunities include guest speakers, career days, etc.

Wesley House
Wesley House has an opportunity for those able to lead a STEM-based learning experience. Opportunities are available monthly, either after school (4:15-5:30p) or on school holidays. Volunteers will share a STEM topic of their choice and facilitate a related activity.

Wesley House Community Center was established in 1907 to provide childcare for the children of the women of Brookside Mills. Today, Wesley House focuses on three main areas of service: providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible childcare, fostering social connections among senior citizens, and responding to emerging community needs. Wesley House provides after school care and care on school holidays, continually exploring ways to show children new opportunities for growth. They are also looking to incorporate more STEM programs, and this is where we can come in and help.
