STEM Game Day

STEM Game Days are coming this fall to Nashville and Chattanooga

We’re excited to announce two 2026 Game Day events this fall in Nashville and Chattanooga.

Nashville Game Day | Wednesday, October 21, 2026 | GEODIS Park

Chattanooga Game Day | Tuesday, November 10, 2026 | Erlanger Park

Using the stadiums as living classrooms, groups of students will rotate through four interactive learning stations to see how engineering concepts come to life and gain insight about a career in the engineering industry. These stations will showcase a variety of topics such as transportation engineering, structural engineering, utility engineering, and engineering careers.

Across the country, the engineering industry is facing workforce challenges as demand for professionals continues to rise. By engaging students during their formative years, Game Day hopes to strengthen the future talent pipeline by sparking interest in engineering careers.

Early exposure to engineering careers can help students:

  • Understand the critical role engineers play in designing, building, and maintaining the places and systems we use every day
  • Connect what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world applications
  • Explore rewarding career opportunities
  • See themselves as future innovators and leaders

We're looking for volunteers to join our teams!

Volunteers will be critical to helping students learn about what real engineering professionals do.Volunteers will serve in one of three roles:

  1. Station host who will talk through one topic and help guide a hands-on activity
  2. Tour guide who will help guide students through their rotations
  3. Assist with check-in and registration

This is expected to be a half-day commitment and will include lunch and a complimentary shirt.
